Southern Adirondack Snowmobile Club, Inc.

Welcome to the Southern Adirondack Snowmobile Club website.

We are located in Mayfield, NY.  We currently have 15 miles of groomed trails and are in the process of attaining more. They start at the Southern part of the Great Sacandaga Lake and travel up and thru the village of Mayfield.  From there you travel thru beautiful foothills and mountains of the Adirondacks.

For those of you familiar with our trails, we have a common meeting place called the "T", on any given day or night you are sure to meet some fellow snowmobilers at this site.

Our Club currently has over 366 members and we are still growing. We hold our monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month, at 7pm, at the Mayfield Municipal Building. Board of Directors meet every other month at 6pm. No meetings held in May, June, and July.

Next meeting is Sept. 11th at 7pm at the  Mayfield Municipal Building.

We hold Special events and Fundraisers thru out the season.  Check back frequently to see what is up coming.  We have a booth at the Bannertown Fair annually and participate in the Bannertown Parade.  This year we won the Judge's Trophy for our Float. In 2005 we won the Overall Best Looking Float trophy and in 2004 we won The Judge's Trophy.

We held our 1st poker run Jan. 19th 2008, and it was a HUGE success, thanks to the many volunteers that helped out, to the local establishments for letting us stop there and to the local businesses for their many donations.   Richard Gugenberger won the 1st prize of $270, congratulations Richard.

The club ride to Kristel's lodge was very enjoyable.  We had over 30 sleds participate, it was a beautiful day,  and the chili at the Lodge was delicious.  See pictures in the album.
