Hard Drives

The Hard Drive is where all the information on your computer is stored. The more Hard Drive space you have, the more information you can store. Some technicians will tell you to buy the largest hard drive you can afford. I say have two hard drives!
Whenever possible, I always set up a PC with two hard drives. This way, if you ever get a virus or Trojan horse on your C:\, and you have been storing your important records on your D:\, they may be saved from the C:\ destruction. Grant it, it may cost a little more, but the security is well worth the investment. Remember, If you have one hard drive and it should crash, you could lose everything on it.

REMINDER: Always keep Floppy Drive backups of your important files.

Hard Drive Size Comparison:

1000 MB (MegaByte) = 1 GB (GigaByte), So a 4 GB Hard Drive = 4000 MB
