CD-RW Drive

A CD Writer (CDR) allows  you to copy CD's. They are available in different speeds. If you purchase  a writer that is 12X6X32, this means that  it can write  to a CDR at 12 speed, re-write  a CD-RW  at 6 speed, and run at 32 speed for normal CD playing.

CD-R = CD you can write to once.

CD-RW = CD you can write to multiple times. Good for backing up data.
